HOW TO DO CPR:
CALL PUSH RESPOND

Call 911

If you notice someone collapse, go and check if they are ok.
Tap and shout "Are you okay?"

If they don't respond, call 911 or have someone else call 911.

Push hard and fast!

Push hard and fast in the center of the chest. If the person starts talking or groaning, stop doing chest compressions.

Respond with an AED

Have someone grab an AED and apply it to the person. Follow the AED's instructions.

HOW TO USE AN AED

Turn it on

Turn on the AED and listen to instructions. Someone should be doing chest compressions.

Apply Pads

Apply pads to the victims bare chest. Follow the pictures on the pad!

Clear!

When the AED says "Analyzing Heart Rhythm", clear everyone from touching the victim

Shock or No Shock

When the AED says "shock advised" be sure to clear everyone from the patient and press shock. Be sure to do chest compressions right after the person is shocked.

The AED may not always shock, if it says "no shock advised, continue chest compressions.
